About farm-it
At Moore & Warner, it's all about convenience. Utilizing farm-it as an eBay Seller, Consignors can kick back and relax while we take on all the work of this high-tech, time-consuming task. Although we cannot guarantee the outcome of any auction, farm-it will work hard to bring about successful eBay sales of your items.
Consignor Information
Initial Visit - This brochure describes our eBay sales services.
Explanation of the Consignment Process - Our brochure describes our services, auction terms, the number of auctions, related fees, and other details. In order to activate your sales account, we will request your signature on an associated authorization form. Once your account is activated, farm-it may begin auctioning your good(s) as described on each Item Sheet.
Item Sheet - This is a contract between the Consignor and farm-it and represents each item submitted for auction(s) by the Consignor. Each Item Sheet establishes the fee base (item or lot) and assists each Consignor with a clear and concise description of auction items for sale. We require your dated signature on each document prior to the activation of any and all auctions.
Appointment - During our initial visit, we can also arrange a one-on-one, follow-up appointment with you. In that meeting, we shall review forms, answer your questions, and reiterate the details of eBay trading assistance. We will also help you describe in great detail your item(s) to be placed on auction, noting special characteristics and/or flaws. Upon a mutual understanding of goods and services, auctions may begin.
Fees
Listing Fee (farm-it) – Consignors pay an up-front listing fee per Item Sheet directly to farm-it. Receipt of payment is required before any item is placed on auction. This listing fee includes digital photographs, assistance with the item description, online communications throughout the auction periods, receipt and verification of payment, shipping and handling, as well as follow-up for each eBay transaction. All of these services are included in the one-time listing fee per auction item! Listing fees are based upon item or lot.
Selling Your Items Farm-it will work hard to get the best prices for your sale items. You can help by making sure the items are: clean, complete, in good working order, or serviceable. Additional related components, such as instruction manuals, original boxes and so forth, will enhance the sale. Please remember: Premium items bring premium prices.
Sales Fee (farm-it) - Sales fees are based upon the amount of the winning bid. Item sales with a winning bid below $200 per Item Sheet generate a 3 percent fee. An item and/or lot sale with a winning bid ranging from $200 to $2,000 generates a 10 percent fee. An item and/or lot sale with a winning bid over $2,000 generates a 5 percent fee. Volume sales generate an across-the-board sales fee of 30 percent, regardless of the amount of the winning bid. Auction Results Auction fees accrue whether or not an item sells.

Auction Results
Auction fees accrue whether or not an item sells.
No Sale = Invoice. Sale = Check.
No Sale = Invoice. If an item does not sell, the Consignor shall receive an Invoice directly from farm-it for the total amount of eBay fees applied. This total may include eBay posting fees for insertion, gallery, and submission of photos. Once full payment of the Invoice has been received and cleared, farm-it will release the unsold item to the Consignor.
Sale = Check. Once an item sells through an eBay auction, the Consignor shall receive a check directly from farm-it for the net proceeds of the sale. To determine net proceeds, total applied auction fees are deducted from the total amount of the winning bid.
Auction fees may include eBay posting fees (above) and eBay final value fees (based upon amount of the winning bid), as well as PayPal and farm-it fees, as applicable. PayPal fees are based upon the winning bid and are only applicable when the Buyer utilizes this payment option for online purchases. Printed fee charts for eBay and PayPal are available upon request.
Buyer Information
To properly promote your sales items, and to protect the interests of both you and potential Buyers, farm-it emphasizes the use of highly detailed, accurate information for eBay auction items.
The Buyer is responsible for full payment of the winning bid within the time frame posted in the eBay listing, including shipping and handling fees. Auction items shall be released for shipment and/or Buyer pickup following receipt of cleared payment.
For items posted as "pickup only", farm-it works with both Buyer and Consignor to arrange a timely appointment. We strive to have a farm-it representative on site for each appointment to ensure a successful transaction, protecting interests of both Buyer and Consignor.
We follow through until the eBay transaction is complete, including posting feedback.
