Connie L. Durbin
serves as the bookkeeper for Moore & Warner Farm Management, as well as for
all clients who require financial recordkeeping. Connie is technologically advanced, transitioning financial
recordkeeping systems to state-of-the art computerization.
Connie is also Moore
& Warner’s office manager, bringing nearly sixteen years of experience in
the field of agricultural recordkeeping to Moore & Warner Farm Management.
She was the office manager and bookkeeper for the C. H. Moore Trust
Estate, a large land trust consisting of, but not limited to, several thousand
acres of farmland across the Midwest. She was responsible for maintaining the
financial records, as well as running the trust office.
Connie is a
life-long resident of DeWitt County, Illinois, being raised on a farm just
outside of a rural farming community named Farmer City.
She graduated from Moore Township High School in Farmer City and has a
bachelor’s degree in business education from Illinois State University.
Connie was a former high school Business Education teacher in Wapella,
Illinois. She also taught on a
part-time basis for Richland Community College in Decatur, Illinois.
For the last 18
years, she has volunteered her time as treasurer for the DeWitt County Museum
Association, a not-for-profit corporation whose aim is to preserve the history
of living and farming in DeWitt County at the turn of the 19th
Century. They own and operate the
property known as the C. H. Moore Homestead where the popular Apple ‘n Pork
Festival has been held for 37 years. The
farm museum has one of the best antique farm machinery displays in the state.
Connie’s
educational background and working experience make her a valued asset of Moore
& Warner’s operation.
