Kent D. Bangert is a 1983 graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics. Kent was raised on a grain and livestock farm near Taylorville, Illinois, and enjoys working as a professional farm manager helping farm landowners attain the goals they have for their land.
Kent holds the Accredited Farm Manager designation with the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and is a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
Kent is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois and is current with continuing education requirements.
Kent's experience includes:
- Profitably growing and marketing the major crops produced in the Midwest.
- Negotiating and implementing major crop leasing arrangements.
- Managing both dry-land and irrigated farms, administering government programs and conservation practices.
- Selecting and working with farm operators to ensure the maximum benefit for the farmland asset.
- On-farm yield, chemical and fertility studies.
Kent serves on the farmdoc Advisory Committee and is an ambassador for Illinois Connection.
